Le Mans forms part of the "Holy Trinity of Motor Racing" which also includes the Indy 500 and the Monaco Grand Prix.

2007 saw the Scuderia Ecosse team battling hard for 18 hours after staring on pole but the La Sarthe circuit bit hard and mechanical failure forced the team to withdraw from the race. They will be back in 2008 with a fresh determination to win this awesome racing challenge.
